Eclipse Signal Uploader

Privacy Policy — Eclipse Signal Uploader

Effective date: 16 October 2026

Who we are

Eclipse Signal Uploader ("the tool") is operated by Onurhan Demir, an individual developer. Contact: onur38740@gmail.com.

Use of YouTube API Services

The tool uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API). By using the tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What data the tool accesses

Through Google OAuth 2.0 the tool accesses only the YouTube channel owned by the authorizing Google account, with these scopes:

The tool does not read comments and does not access data belonging to other users or channels.

What data is stored and where

The tool stores, in local files on the operator's own computer, the OAuth access and refresh tokens and a record of each video it has uploaded: the video identifier, the requested privacy status and scheduled publish time, and the status details read back from YouTube after upload and scheduling. It also stores the weekly analytics values listed above, with the identifiers of the videos they belong to.

How the data is shared

The tool sends status messages to the operator's own Telegram chat. These messages include links to the operator's own videos, their titles and their scheduled publish times. The weekly analytics values may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API so that a written analysis can be prepared for the operator. Apart from Telegram and Anthropic, no data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party, and no data is stored on any server operated by the tool's developer.

The tool shows the values returned by YouTube Analytics as they are, labelled with their date range; it does not calculate other metrics from them.

Data retention and deletion

Deleting stored data

You can ask for the data stored by the tool to be deleted by emailing onur38740@gmail.com. It will be deleted within 7 calendar days. Deleting the tool's stored data does not affect any data stored by YouTube; to delete data on YouTube, use YouTube itself.

Revoking access

In addition to the deletion procedure above, you can revoke the tool's access to your Google account at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revocation immediately invalidates the stored tokens. After revocation, all YouTube API data stored by the tool is deleted within 30 calendar days.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics.

Changes

Changes to this policy will be published on this page with a new effective date.
